Welan gum used in gypsum mortar
New Welan gum of is a new type product developed by bio-technology. Compared with like products, new welan gum has much better features such as thickening, stabilizing, suspension, emulsification, high viscosity, salt tolerance and high temperature resistance, which can be widely used in industry and agriculture such as oil exploitation, deep well work, concrete and additive of dry-mixed mortar.
Description:
WELAN GUM is a high molecular weight biopolymer fermented by Alcaligenes bacteria. Compared to Xanthan gum, it provides better thermal stability and may be utilized in deep wells drilling.
Application:
WELAN GUM biopolyer is a high efficiency, pseudoplastic viscosifier and suspension agent used in water based drilling, workover and completion fluids. Welan gum is also used in hydraulic fracturing fluids and cementing grouts.
